Warriors Soccer Academy provides purposeful soccer development for players ages 5–13.

We focus on teaching the game the right way from the start — with clear coaching, structured sessions, and high standards. Every practice has intent. Players are challenged to think, compete, and improve, not just run drills or chase results.

Our environment is demanding but supportive. Players are taught to work, take responsibility, and grow through effort and consistency. Team matters. Individual development matters. Shortcuts don’t.

Coach Mirko

Warriors Soccer Coach

With over 13 years of coaching experience across all ages and competitive levels, Coach Mirko is a passionate educator and leader in youth soccer development. A USSF "C" License holder, he has shaped programs that emphasize skill, confidence, and a love for the game. As both an academy director and program founder, Coach Mirko brings a player-first approach to every training environment.

Career Experience:

  • 13+ years of coaching experience across all ages and game formats

  • Academy Director and curriculum developer at Sporting Wesley Chapel

  • Founder of Sunshine Soccer Stars recreational program

  • Co-owner of a Tampa Bay-based youth soccer development program

  • Specializes in age-appropriate curriculum and holistic player development

Certifications:

USSF 'C' License, Positive Coaching Alliance Certified

Coach Shaun Brooks

Warriors Soccer Coach

A former Premier League professional with over 400 top-level appearances, Shaun Brooks brings a wealth of experience to every training session. With a UEFA Pro License and an impressive coaching résumé, Coach Shaun has worked with elite clubs including Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth, Southampton, and more. As a former Academy Director and First Team Coach, he has played a pivotal role in developing some of today’s top talent. Passionate about player development, he combines deep tactical knowledge with a proven ability to inspire the next generation.

Career Highlights:

  • 400+ professional appearances with Premier League clubs Crystal Palace & AFC Bournemouth

  • UEFA Pro Licensed coach with extensive experience at youth and senior levels

  • Former First Team Coach, AFC Bournemouth

  • Academy Director at both AFC Bournemouth and Southampton

  • Coaching experience with Southampton, Bristol City, Brighton & Bournemouth academies

  • Helped develop players such as Gareth Bale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Ings, Luke Shaw, Matt Ritchie & Joel Ward
